Island View Resort is located on Cedarville Bay in the heart of the Beautiful Les Cheneaux Islands.  We are located a convenient 1 mile east of the village of Cedarville.  We have 400 feet of Southern exposure to the bay, providing for that much wanted mid day sunshine and many sunrises and sunsets.
As owners and managers we are always stressing the modernization and upgrading of our facilities while keeping the rates reasonable, we provide a discount rate for peak season as well as off season.  The most recent improvements being the removal of a driveway from the front of cottages 2-7 & 10.  We have also added a separate driveway and parking for cottage #6 (The Honeymoon).  The outdoor lighting has been changed to a more appealing lamp and a more pleasant glow.  All the overhead wiring has been removed and replaced with buried cable.  We also buried new water lines to 5,6 & 10.

2012- New carpeting and vinyl installed in number eight cottage.  Additional electrical outlets and a bedroom fan, electric heat and a washer and dryer installed in cottage #4. 
WIFI is available to all cottages, no additional charge.  Flat screen DVDTV’s and satellite reception has recently replaced the analog TV’s of the good ole days. 
Fishing is one of the favorite water sports of the Les Cheneaux Islands.  Boating is a necessity when surrounded by 35 beautiful islands providing sheltered bays, coves and channels.  We also have rental boats available - 16’  fishing boats and outboard motors and a luxury Pontoon Boat.  If you have your own “pride of the waterways” we provide an excellent dock allowing you to tie off at 4 points.  We have slips up to 32 feet long and 12 feet wide.  FORTUNATELY WE HAVE DEEP WATER SLIPS which have not been effected by the shallow waters of the Great Lakes during the past ten years.  We provide a separate fish cleaning house with running water and electric to ease the job of cleaning that big catch.
We have a very nice beach approximately 100 feet long on the West side of our dock and another small beach approximately 30 feet on the East side. 
Each cottage has a charcoal grill, picnic table lounging chairs and a lovely wood deck for those wonderful outdoor activities during your stay.  Waterfront cottages 1-4-6 & 8 have a fire pit at the cottage.  There is also a large fire pit for all to use in the front lawn area.  All fire wood is provided by us.  ENJOY!
Our resort covers better than 8 acres on flat ground, partly wooded with a small stream running through part of it, providing you with ample room to stretch your legs and your imagination.  A large portion of resort property remains undeveloped which provides for a great pet walk, we are pet friendly and ask all pet owners to please be pet responsible.
